Eastbourne Borough forced a replay against Stevenage Borough as the FA Cup fourth qualifying round tie at Priory Lane ended 2-2.

A midweek replay at Broadhall Way will see the two sides battle it out for the right to face Stockport County in the first round proper.

The home side went in front after just four minutes as Danny Simmonds and Matt Smart combined to set Scott Ramsay to fire his shot past Mark Westhead at his near post.

Eight minutes before half time Eastbourne were 2-0 in front as Matt Crabb was the provider for Ramsay to smash home his second goal of the game.

However, with half-time beckoning Stevenage got back into the game as Dino Maamria volleyed home Simon Wormull's cross with a spectacular effort past home keeper Lee Hook.

That spurred Graham Westley's side on for the second period and midway through the second 45 minutes they drew level.

Leading scorer Anthony Elding netted the equaliser, beating Hook with a firm downward header.

The final 20 minutes saw few chances, although the visitors had Danny Carroll sent off in the dying minutes for a clash with Simmonds.
