Since Signinig from Boston United shortly after Graham Westley's appointment, Elding has transformed himself into a Boro legend. Signed when Boro were crying out for a regular goal scorer after so many had come and failed since Carl Alford alongside Boro sitting rock bottom, Elding came in and found the back of the net several times to help Boro away from safety. Since then Elding has scored regualy and been top scorer every season since his arrival. last season Elding helped Borough reach the playoffs and scored several goals throughout the campaign inspiring Boro to come back from 3-0 to Scarboro at one point to draw 3-3.

Elding has clearly become a popular man at Broadhall way, the chants of 'we've got Eldinhio' by the fans at games just shows how improtant Elding has and will be in the up and coming season.

Elding is currently close to knotching his 100th appearance in a Boro shirt and along that has maintained a suberb goal ratio of almost a goal every two games for the Boro, in fact the missed penalty on Saturday would of been his 50th goal for the club. Hopefully he will continue to score goals and time is on his side, hopefully he will be playing league football next year and fingers crossed it will be with the Boro.
