Signed from Brentford last season during the later stages, Alan played a key role in helping Boro to the playoffs. Signed on the back of a huge goalkeeping crisis, which saw Boro use 4 keepers previously in one season, Alan has established himself quickly as a very reliable keeper and added some stability in that position.
In fact Alan has been rated as Boro's best goalkeeper since Des Gallagher, due to a string of impressive saves and performances in the closing stages of last season. Alan certainly looks one of the best keepers in the conference, and will be looking to maintain that throughout this season and help Boro to win the league.
