Is this the way to the Brittania ?

Stevenage Borough clinched a play-off place, in what can only be described as dramatic style, on Saturday, after the 2 nil victory over Leigh RMI and Morecombe were held to a nil nil draw with Tamworth.

Hardly anyone left Broadhall Way after the final whistle as the players and backroom staff gather in the centre circle in order to find out what was going on in the important matches. After a long 10 minute wait (possibly the longest 10 minutes in history) it was announced that the Morecambe had failed to win. It was time for the celebrations to begin.

Stevenage will now face Hereford at home on Monday 2nd May, and then will be away on the following Friday. The first leg will be shown live on Sky Sports. In the other play-off match Aldershot will play Carlisle.

Tickets are now on sale for the first leg at Broadhall Way, and can be purchased from the Club Shop, or by calling the ticket line on (01438) 218062.
