Westley upbeat despite defeat

Graham Westley refused to be too downhearted after his Stevenage side were beaten 2-0 by Wycombe. Kevin Betsy and Stuart Beavon were on target as Boro failed to secure a third consecutive victory. But Westley said: "It's a little disappointing for me because I thought we had a great chance to make even more progress towards the leading places. "We created chances and maybe ought to have scored from one or two of them, but I suppose it wasn't to be our day. We had been on a decent little winning run and I was confident that we could extend that, but Wycombe have always been a strong side at this level and we've seen that again. "We had a great win in midweek but it wasn't to be so we have to go again. "We can't complain too much about how we've done so far. Since coming into the League all the players have acquitted themselves well and the fans have enjoyed our journey so far."
