Westley Backs Elding

Graham Westley has moved to back Elding following the players apparent play making in the Hereford match. Elding appeared to annoy Hereford fans when Elding reacted badly to a challenge from Hereford's goalkeeper Wayne Brown. Westley felt that Wayne Brown put his arm in Elding's face and as a result provoked Elding, something against the rules of football.

It's been an intresting start for Elding who has been in for all sorts of rumours over the summer with speculation that he wanted to leave Boro for a league club. However the player has remained at Boro and made a decent start scoring 4 goals in 7 starts for Boro, a big improvement on a slow start for him last season.

Other Boro News:

Ronnie Henry has been given a 1 match ban following his double yellow card against Hereford. He becomes the third player to be sent of for Boro in 7 games following the red cards of Dino Maamria and Jason Goodliffe.
