Stevenage V Stourbridge at The Lamex Stadium - Match Preview

Hartley back for Boro

Peter Hartley is back in the Stevenage squad for the visit of FA Cup minnows Stourbridge.

Hartley missed last weekend's 3-1 defeat by Shrewsbury through suspension after collecting his fifth booking of the season.

Fellow defender Ben Chorley could also make a welcome return to the squad for the first time this season, having played for the reserves in midweek following long-term groin and thigh problems.

But forward Darius Charles remains on the sidelines as he recovers from ankle ligament damage.

Stourbridge manager Gary Hackett expects to have a fully-fit squad at his disposal, with Will Richards, Chris Knight (both illness) and Drew Canavan (injury) all set to return.

Hackett is looking for a response from his side after "the worst 90 minutes since our Midland Alliance days" in Tuesday's 2-0 defeat at Burnham.

The Glassboys, aiming to reach the third round for the first time in their 137-year history, sit sixth in the Evo-Stick Southern Premier and beat Biggleswade Town to book their date with Boro.

"We're not going to Stevenage just to be part of the day. We're going there looking to get into the third round - and to do that, we have to produce a big shock," said Hackett.
