Stevenage V Brentford at The Lamex Stadium - Match Preview

Charles missing for Boro

Darius Charles will again be missing from the Stevenage squad for the visit of Brentford.

The defender-turned-striker has suffered a setback in his recovery from the ankle injury he sustained in August and faces another few weeks on the sidelines.

Centre-half Ben Chorley, who has yet to play this season, is also absent, but is due to resume training soon following a calf problem.

Defenders Lee Hills (thigh) and David Gray (knee) are doubts so boss Graham Westley could stick with the bulk of the side which beat MK Dons in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy in midweek - their first win in seven matches.

Brentford boss Uwe Rosler is set to make changes for the trip.

Defenders Shaleum Logan and Harlee Dean, midfielders Adam Forshaw and Alan McCormack and striker Clayton Donaldson were all rested for Tuesday night's Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat at Peterborough.

Jake Bidwell (ankle), Jonathan Douglas (knee) and George Saville (hip) returned from injury lay-offs against Posh and came through unscathed leaving Rosler with plenty of options.

Striker Will Grigg will be missing, though, as he is on international duty with Northern Ireland.
