Stevenage manager Graham Westley told BBC Three Counties Radio: "When you play a side that has as many decent lads as they (Barrow) have got, you know you're not going to get given the points, you have to go and earn them.
"We approach games believing that we have the capability to beat opponents. We are not too worried what they bring, it is up to us to take the challenge.
"Whoever we are playing, we believe in ourselves and believe we can score the goals to win matches."
