Dino in racial allegations

Dino Maamria is at the centre of a racial allegation after the player accused Ian Selley of racial abuse. The racial abuse was geared towards skin colour and faith. Ian Selley apparently used these comments during the match (Woking v Stevenage) to abuse Dino Maamria, which resulted in Dino over reacting and spitting at the palyer after he was red carded. The outburt comes from an interview with Dino Maamria, where he also critised the referee for allowing such actions to happen.

It raises questions over racism in sport again after many campaigns in this country have been tackling the issue, "Kick Racism out of sport," the most known of them.

However Dino is facing a long suspension after he spat at a Woking player and is likely to miss at least three matches. This will come as a blow to Stevenage who are looking to get off to a good start to the season.
