Boro look to improve over bank holiday

Stevenage Boro will look to improve on a poor start to the season this week when they take on Tamworth and Crawley over the weekend. Having lost to Southport and Woking 3-2 last week, Boro know that a win is crucial to bring their championship challenge back alive. Rivals Hereford have already made a good start to the season along with Exeter Town, leaving Boro in the lurch on just three points.

Tamworth sit in mid-table undeafeated with a win and two draws, meaning they will be no push over for Boro, while Crawley have made a poor start to the season collecting just two points. Stevenae should expect an easier ride than the Woking match and will be aiming to collect all six points and move up the table.

Boro will also be missing Dino Maamria who is suspended following his red card against Woking. The Boro squad likely: (4-4-2) Julian, Goodliffe, Henry, Warner, Gregory, Bullman, Berquez, Boyd, Williams, Elding and Stamp.
