1 Month gone

As we approach the end of the first month of the season, the Conference begins to take shape in terms of which teams can be challenging for the title. As already we have seen Exeter City rocket to the top with an exellent start to the campaign and could emerge as big title contenders. Gray's Athletic have made a solid start to Conference life and see themselves in a strong posistion in third, while Conference favourites Hereford like Boro are thereabouts near the top along with Cambridge United who suprisingly have started well. There have been poor starts for play-off semi finalists Aldershot who's injury problems have crippled their performances along with Woking who despite beating us have also struggled.

It's clear to see that Boro's rivals are likely to be Hereford and Exeter and perhaps Cambridge, which could make for an intresting match at the end of the year. While Stevenage have played poorley away their form at home is perfect and will need to continue that against struggling Crawley Town. Boro have no new major injury concerns accept for Dino being out suspended. Boro look likely to keep the same side that played against Tamworth although Barry Laker comes back into contention and could replace Matt Hocking at centre back for the missing Ronnie Henry who missed the Tamworth match. Awin for Boro on bank holiday could see us move into the top 3 and put us in serious contention. So come on the Boro this Monday!
